Daring by design and alluring by style, the Kartell Louis Ghost chair is a composition of proficient technique and refined sophistication and is the world’s bravest example of the injection of polycarbonate in a single mould. Inspired by the Louis XV chair, Philippe Starck’s crystalline creation is aesthetically charming and additionally durable and pragmatic. The withstanding piece can be featured in either a residential or commercial setting, and conveniently stacked if necessary.
Versatile in a spatial sense, the Kartell Louis Ghost chair is breathtaking in any space. From a statement dressing room chair to the evanescent presence surrounding a dining table, the image is nothing short of flawless. The pellucid surface is available in several colours, injecting distinct variety into the classic collection.

I didnʼt really have to design the 'Louis Ghost' chair, because it is part of our western shared memory. It basically designed itself. Itʼs a ʻLouis somethingʼ, we donʼt know what, but everyone recognises it and it looks familiar. Itʼs here when you want to see it, and you can mix it if you want to be discrete. Itʼs on the verge of disappearing, dematerialising. Like everything that is produced by our civilisation.
