About Kartell Perth

“Kartell has a family-orientated philosophy or, in other words, we’re a philosophical family. Kartell was the only company that understood – before anyone else – that plastic alone could improve quality and lead to the creation of interesting and genuine products for as many people as possible."

- Philippe Starck con Eugeni Ouitllet

A collaborative fusion of timeless design with a collective history of over 100 years of dedication to furniture & homewares.

Family

Trilogy, a family owned & operated luxury goods retailer, brings Kartell with its 70 years of history from Milan to Australia. Trilogy, founded in 1986, has grown from strength to strength with an unrelenting focus on product quality & customer service.

Trilogy presents Kartell Perth as a 'Store within a Store' concept offering an exclusive collection of rich culture, design, industrial products, cutting edge technology with an emphasis on sustainability.

With Kartell’s intense passion for creation along with design precision & Trilogy’s distinct desire to offer specialty pieces & limited editions from around the world to clientele, this combination was the perfect cohesion.

The History

Kartell founded by Giulio Castelli in 1949 took its first steps to produce the distinctive design that would come to epitomise the “Made in Italy” label. The company was later acquired by Claudio Luti, the son in law of Giulio & Anna Castelli. This heralded a new start for the brand as collaborations with architects & designers brought innovative design with a fresh approach to materials.

Influences like Philippe Starck, Ron Arad, Antonio Citterio & Ferruccio Laviani were some of the great minds who were responsible for ensuring a signature style which symbolised the brand.

The Collections

In 1999 Kartell introduced the world to revolutionary design encompassing & embracing polycarbonate to produce furniture & homewares. This was further developed & refined to produce transparent iconic collections. High performance materials made it possible to create an extensive & ever evolving indoor & outdoor product range. A range of enduring products with a commitment to safeguarding the environment & observing sustainability protocols are paramount in the Kartell story.

Unique in design, original in form with contemporary flair, this minimalistic collection embraces an abundance of experience & distinction.
